Telecom Projects / Streetworks

In suburban areas, or where a suitable Rooftop site is unavailable, it is quite likely that “Streetworks” sites are constructed. These are usually built in the footpath or verge of public streets and roads. Planning conditions for Streetwork equipment tend to be quite stringent and construction must take into account the requirements of the New Road & Streetworks Act 1994, The Traffic Management Act 2004, as well as meeting HAUC UK specifications. The construction would comprise of a non climbable pole and a vandal resistant equipment cabinet. This type of site is becoming more and more commonplace in and around our towns.
